Previous College: played two seasons at Arkansas Tech University in Russellville...hit .291 with 48 hits, 31 runs and 18 stolen bases as a freshman...helped Golden Suns to a Gulf South Conference West Division title by going 42-21...earned Second Team All-GSC West honors at shortstop....set school record with 134 assists...only played in 22 games as a sophomore due to broken leg...hit .273 with 12 runs, 15 hits, two RBI and eight stolen bases...two-time GSC All-Academic Team selection

High School: Two-time all-state selection for Greenbrier High School in Arkansas...hit .455 as a senior and was named Edward Jones Player of the Year...three-time all-conference honoree...hit .524 as a junior...twice named Edward Jones Player of the Month...played in 2008 Arkansas All-Star Game...three-time all-state and all-conference in basketball...earned all-state honors three times and all-conference four times in golf
