2023 SEASON: made 14 appearances, all starts, as the Bears' Friday night ace... First-team All-ASUN pitcher last season… co-ASUN Baseball Scholar-Athlete of the Year… first-team Academic All-American (graduated with a 4.0 in general science)… two-time ASUN Pitcher of the Week... led the ASUN with 109 strikeouts, was second in wins with seven and third in ERA at 3.00… went 7-4 with a league-high three complete games and 96 innings pitched…batters had a .227 batting average against him... struck out a career-high 11 batters twice in conference play (vs. Stetson, vs. Bellarmine) and had 10 strikeouts vs. Austin Peay… for his career, Barker has 168 career strikeouts, which ranks in the Top 10 at UCA

2022 SEASON: made 16 appearances on the mound, including 11 starts...last 10 starts of the season were weekend ASUN series... had a 2-7 record with 2 saves and a 5.27 ERA... struck out 55 batters in 68.1 innings... had the second-most innings on the team... walked just 18 batters... had 1 complete game and 1 shutout... struck out season-high 8 in 7.2 innings at North Alabama... struck out 7 twice (Lipscomb, Eastern Kentucky)... had a complete game vs. Lipscomb (7 Ks, 1 BB, 2 hits, 92 pitches) in a 6-0 win... threw a season-high 103 pitches at UNA

2021 SEASON: made 3 appearances on the mound with a 0-0 record... threw 2.0 innings... had three strikeouts and no walks 

2020 SEASON: made 2 appearances on the mound with a 0-0 record and a 6.00 ERA... threw 3.0 innings with a strikeout and two walks

PREVIOUS SCHOOL: played at Benton (Ark.) High School... was a 6A All-State selection in 2019

PERSONAL: son of Roger and Marsha.. brothers Brody and Jared... majoring in general science
