Conway, Ark.- The Bears competed in the Golfweek Fall Challenge at the Caledonia Golf Club in Pawleys Island, South Carolina over the past three days to start their 2026-2027 golf season. This event was stroke play, 3 rounds. The Bears shot +44 (896) over the three rounds to finish in 16^th place out of 23 teams in the field. The Bears made 26 birdies over the 3 rounds. UNCW won the event shooting +2 (854).

Alethea Paige Gaccion led the Bears shooting +4 for the tournament with rounds of Even, +1, and +3.
Emma Leroy Fabry shot +13 for the tournament with rounds of +3, +3, and +7.
Gudrun Thorsteinsdottir shot +14 for the tournament with rounds of +1, +10, and +3.
Maggie Huett shot +15 with rounds of +6, +1, and +8.
Nanami Hayakawa shot +24 for the tournament with rounds of +8, +10, and +6.
