CONWAY, Ark. – The Central Arkansas volleyball team will host Austin Peay at the Prince Center on Saturday at 1 p.m. for its second home match of the season. 
 
The Sugar Bears (0-11, 0-1) enter the match following a tight 3-1 loss to Eastern Kentucky on Thursday by set scores of 20-25, 25-22, 24-26 and 21-25. Central Arkansas battled throughout the match with 22 total ties and nine lead changes. 
 
Ella Chaney posted a career night, setting a new career high with 19 kills in the match, hitting .313. She added eight digs, three assists and one block for a total of 20.5 points in the contest. Nicole Sargent tied her career high for kills with 12, hitting .258 in the match. Sargent recorded five blocks and 13 digs for her first collegiate double-double. 
 
Sophie Skinner continues to put the Sugar Bears in position to attack with 191 assists on the season, averaging 7.07 per set, while Chaney leads the way in kills with 71. 
 
Austin Peay (9-5, 1-0) comes in riding a three-game win streak, including a 3-1 conference victory over Little Rock on Thursday. 

Senior DS/L, Reagan Anderson, was named United Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week on Sept. 21. The senior leads the Govs in digs with 260 on the season, averaging 4.91 per set. Sophomore Nicole Okojie leads APSU in blocks with 52 total, 1.11 per set. 
 
On the offensive side, sophomore Brooklynn Merrell averages 4.75 assists per set with 252 total this season and redshirt-junior Lauren Wallace leads the team in kills with 118, 2.36 per set.
