CONWAY, Ark. – After playing them twice this past weekend at home, the Central Arkansas softball team will head down to Monroe, Louisiana to face ULM all over again on Tuesday. First pitch at ULM Softball Complex is set for 6 p.m.
 
The Bears (17-8) have won five-straight after clearing house in this past weekend's Milisa Moore & Shane Lamb Memorial Tournament. Central Arkansas outscored its opponents 29-8, including a pair of double-digit run games against Chattanooga.
 
Now 25 games into the season, Renee Christian leads the team with a .409 batting average. The junior outfielder also carries a 12-game hitting streak into Tuesday's game, the longest active streak on the team. The Bears have three players hitting .390 or better, with both Addie Graham and Trinity Brandon hitting .390. The three combine for 80 hits, including 21 doubles, three triples and six home runs, along with 27 stolen bases.
 
In the circle, the Bears have started to find a rhythm with their group. Emory Bowlin became the third pitcher this season to toss a shutout, blanking the Warhawks on Sunday. She now holds a 3.36 ERA on 41.2 innings, the second-highest workload of any pitcher on staff. Additionally, the entire staff allows just a .257 batting average this season.
 
ULM (16-11) will look to regain its footing at home after going 2-2 over the weekend in Conway, winning both games against Chattanooga but dropping both against the Bears. The Warhawks hit over .260 just once in the four games at Natalie Shock Stadium, a game that ULM won 11-8 over Chattanooga.
 
After hosting the Bears on Tuesday, ULM will start conference play this weekend, opening Sun Belt play at Texas State. The Warhawks were picked to finish second in the Sun Belt preseason poll, just behind the Bobcats.
 
First pitch on Tuesday is set for 6 p.m. in Monroe. The game will be streamed on ESPN+, with live stats available online.
