Conway, Ark.- The Bears played in the Puerto Rico Iguana Invitational in Humuaco, Puerto Rico on March 3^rd-5^th. The Bears played one round each day in this three-day stroke play event. After round 1 the Bears were tied for first place, after round 2 the Bears were in second. Then in round 3 the Bears had the best round in the field but couldn't catch Georgia State, finishing three strokes back. Overall, the Bears shot +16 for the event finishing in 2^nd place. The Bears made 160 pars (2^nd), 32 birdies (5^th) and 1 eagle (3^rd). The Bears had the 5^th best average on par 3s at 3.34, 1^st best average on par 4s at 4.16 and 3^rd best average on par 5s at 4.89.

Alethea Paige Gaccion won the individual title after tying with TK Kongthong of Georgia State and then winning the playoff with a birdie on the first playoff hole. Gaccion shot -2 for the tournament. Round 1: -1, Round 2: -1, Round 3: E.

Gudrun Thorsteinsdottir shot +4 for the tournament, finishing in 5^th place. Round 1: +4, Round 2: -1, Round 3: +1.

Maggie Huett shot +6 for the tournament, finishing in 8^th place. Round 1: +4, Round 2: +3, Round 3: -1.

Valeria Ramirez shot +10 for the tournament, finishing in 20^th place. Round 1: +6, Round 2: +4, Round 3: E.

Aubrey Marx shot +21 for the tournament, finishing in 41^st place. Round 1: +4, Round 2: +7, Round 3: +10.

Camila Negroni played as an independent in this event, shot +21 for the tournament, finishing in 41^st place. Round 1: +9, Round 2: +3, Round 3: +9.
