RICHMOND, Ky. — Central Arkansas (11-8, 1-1) managed eight hits, including a home run, while the Colonels (6-13, 1-1) capitalized on 13 hits and seven runs in the fourth inning to secure the victory. This series is now tied 1-1 with the final game of this series taking place tomorrow.
Parker Gwyn started the game for the Bears with a single and subsequent stolen base.
Nate Negre followed with a single that pushed Gwyn to third.
Zeb Allen brought Gwyn home with an RBI single, giving Central Arkansas an early lead. However, Eastern Kentucky responded with Dylan Littlefield's two-run homer, followed by additional runs to take a 5-1 lead by the end of the first inning.
In the third inning, Allen homered to right center, narrowing the gap. Despite this, Eastern Kentucky maintained control, ending the inning with a 7–2 advantage.
The fourth inning saw Eastern Kentucky extend its lead. A series of singles and a triple from Pedro Moreno resulted in seven runs, creating a 14–2 lead by the inning's close.
Central Arkansas managed to hold Eastern Kentucky scoreless in the fifth inning, but the opponent added two more runs in the sixth through a combination of a wild pitch and a throwing error, pushing the score to 16–2.
In the seventh inning, the Bears capitalized on a passed ball, allowing Gwyn to score, but the deficit remained too much to overcome. The game concluded with Eastern Kentucky securing a 16–3 victory over Central Arkansas.

Caide White yielded five earned runs and four hits over 1 1/3 innings, including a home run and a triple.
Silas Cowgill allowed seven earned runs on six hits across 2 1/3 innings.
Luke Lorence went 1 2/3 innings, giving up one earned run while striking out one batter.
Tobin Cantrill provided a brief but effective relief, recording a ground-ball double play in his 2/3 inning without allowing any hits or runs.
