Conway, Ark.- The University of Central Arkansas Bears (12-10, 7-2) are in the Farris Center for an ASUN match-up with the University of North Alabama Lions (7-13, 2-7) on Wednesday evening, tip-off is set for 6:30 p.m. This is the first meeting between the two teams this season. They were originally set to play the first match-up on January 24
th but the winter storm postponed that game until February 9
th. The Lions won both games against the Bears last year by a combined 52 points and hold a 5-3 record against the Bears in recent years. However, these teams seem to be headed in different directions this season. The Bears are currently on a five-game win streak while the Lions have lost four of their last five games putting them in last place in the ASUN standings.
Last time out, the Bears got revenge on EKU beating them by nine points in the Farris Center on Saturday, EKU beat UCA earlier in the season in overtime in Kentucky. The win moved the Bears to 10-1 at home this season with the lone loss coming to Samford in overtime back in mid-November. Since then, the Bears are 9-0 in the Farris Center winning those nine games by an average of 23.7 points per game. Against EKU,
Camren Hunter scored 32 points for a season high, he had set his season high at Queens last Wednesday when he scored 31. These two performances earned Hunter ASUN Player of the Week Honors. In ASUN games the Bears are scoring 85 points a game while shooting 48% from the field, 37% from 3-point range and 74% from the free throw line.

The Lions are coming off their first win in their last five games winning at Stetson by two points. Both of the Lions ASUN wins have come on the road. The Lions are led in scoring by Canin Jefferson who is scoring 15 points per ASUN game. Donte Bacchus is scoring 14.4 points and 5.3 rebounds while Corneilous Williams is adding 13.3 points and 8.5 rebounds per ASUN game. So far this season the Lions are scoring 71 points per game while shooting 46% from the field, 30% from 3-point range and 69% from the free throw line in ASUN games.
