CONWAY, AR. - The University of Central Arkansas beach volleyball team opens its 2026 campaign this weekend at the Missouri State Tournament, held February 20–21 in Springfield, Missouri. The Bears will compete in four dual matches across two days as they begin their spring slate.
UCA kicks off the season on Friday, February 20, facing McKendree at 1 p.m. before taking on Eastern Illinois University at 5 p.m. The Beach Bears return to the sand on Saturday, February 21, with a 10 a.m. matchup against Lindenwood, followed by a 2 p.m. contest against host Missouri State to close out the tournament.
Opening weekend provides an early test for the Beach Bears as they look to build chemistry and momentum. With a mix of experienced returners and new additions, UCA will look to establish consistency across all five courts and set the tone for the season ahead.
