MONROE, La. — Central Arkansas (2-1) secured a 6-4 victory over the University of Louisiana at Monroe (1-2) on Sunday at Lou St. Amant Field in game 3 of the series and game 1 of a doubleheader, powered by three home runs in the contest. Central Arkansas tallied 13 hits, while its pitching staff limited the Warhawks to six hits over nine innings.
Central Arkansas secured a 6-4 victory over the Warhawks, driven by key offensive performances and solid defense. The action began in the third inning when
Nate Negre singled and advanced to second on a balk, setting the stage for
Mark Ross, who doubled to right center, bringing Negre home.
Parker Gwyn followed with an RBI single to left, scoring Ross and giving the home team a 2-0 lead. Central Arkansas led 2-0 after the third.
ULM responded in the fourth, tying the game at 2-2 with a sacrifice fly from Jackson Landry and a ground out RBI by Jake Griffith. Central Arkansas regained control in the seventh inning as

Central Arkansas' pitching staff delivered a good performance with Freshman
Caide White starting the game, throwing 5 2/3 innings, allowing four hits and three earned runs, while issuing two walks and striking out five batters.
Silas Cowgill, in relief, pitched 2 1/3 innings, conceding one run on one hit, with one strikeout and no walks.

MONROE, La. — Central Arkansas (2-2) suffered a 10-2 defeat against the University of Louisiana at Monroe (2-2) on Sunday at Lou St. Amant Field in game 4 of the series and game 2 of a doubleheader. The Warhawks' offense was powered by three home runs, contributing to their victory.
In the second inning,
Parker Gwyn tripled to right center and later scored on
Keon Moseni's infield single, leveling the game at 1-1. However, the Warhawks responded with three runs in the bottom half, highlighted by a pinch-hit RBI single from Garrett Wiethorn, which contributed to a 4-1 lead for ULM after two innings.
In the third inning, Central Arkansas added another run when
Jayden Sloan singled and scored on a ground out by
Jack Runsick, narrowing the deficit to 4-2. The scoring then stalled for the Bears, despite several opportunities, including leaving the bases loaded in the fifth inning.
The sixth inning saw ULM extend its lead significantly, as Sutton Lewis hit a three-run home run to deep left field, part of a four-run frame that increased ULM's advantage to 8-2. They added two more runs in the seventh on a two-run home run by Dayne Wray, securing a 10-2 lead.
