Conway, Ark.- The Central Arkansas Bears are set to kick off their home opener against the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Golden Lions on September 6 at 6 P.M. The much-anticipated game will take place at First Security Field at Estes Stadium, "The Stripes."
Fans can look forward to witnessing the Bears and Golden Lions clash in what will be their 16th meeting since the teams first faced off in 1970. Historically, the Bears have dominated the match-ups, securing victories in 13 of these encounters. The last time the Golden Lions visited "The Stripes" was on September 18, 2021, when the Bears emerged victorious with a score of 45-23. In their most recent meeting in Pine Bluff last year, the Bears again triumphed, winning 56-17.
