Men's Golf Closes Reno Regional

RENO, Nev. – The Central Arkansas men's golf team wrapped up their play at the Reno Regional, ending the team's first time at an NCAA Regional.
 
Vukasin Suturovic led the team with a 73 on Wednesday, finishing in 27th after three rounds. He had three birdies across his final 18 holes. Kalle Svederman finished with a 74 for his final round, posting a 7-over 223. Bogdan Sandrini shot a 78 on Wednesday, closing seven strokes behind Svederman. Jack Wilson sank birdies on four, seven and 18, playing his way to an 86 for his final 18 holes. Leo Isserentant shot an 81 on Wednesday, ending with a birdie on 18.
 
BYU held on to take first place at the regional, winning over Virginia by four strokes, and ahead of Texas by seven strokes. San Diego and Cal also made the cut to advance to the NCAA Championships later this month. Virginia's Paul Chang took home the individual medal at the Regional, winning by three strokes. BYU's Cole Ponich finished in second, while Duke's Bryan Kim and Texas's Luke Potter finished tied for third.
