CONWAY, Ark. – The Central Arkansas Beach Bears are set to return to home sand this weekend as they host the annual UCA Beach Invitational at the Beach Bear Sand Courts, welcoming a competitive slate of teams from across the region. The two-day event runs Friday, April 11, through Saturday, April 12, and features matchups against Mary Hardin-Baylor, Texas A&M-Kingsville, UT Martin, and Hendrix College.

The Beach Bears will take the court for three matches over two days, including a special Senior Day celebration on Saturday afternoon. 

UCA opens its weekend schedule at 12:00 p.m. Friday against Mary Hardin-Baylor before returning to action at 4:00 p.m. to face off with Texas A&M-Kingsville. The action continues Saturday morning as the Bears take on UT Martin at 8:00 a.m. 

The invitational will conclude with a Senior Day showdown at 3:00 p.m. against in-state foe Hendrix College, as the Bears honor their senior class in their final home appearance of the season.

Joining the Bears in Conway will be UT Martin, Mary Hardin-Baylor, Texas A&M-Kingsville, and Hendrix, who will all compete in round-robin play throughout the weekend. The tournament kicks off bright and early on Friday with an 8:00 a.m. matchup between Mary Hardin-Baylor and UT Martin.

Fans are encouraged to come out and support the Beach Bears all weekend long at the Beach Bear Sand Courts, and celebrate this Senior Class on Saturday.
