CONWAY, Ark. – The Central Arkansas women's basketball team will continue its season after receiving a first-round bye in the WNIT, as announced by Triple Crown Sports.
 
With a first-round bye, the Sugar Bears will wait to face the winner of Abilene Christian and Northwestern State. Once the first round is complete, Central Arkansas and its opponent will schedule a game and host site to take place between March 23^rd and 25^th, with details to come out after the first round.
 
Central Arkansas hosted Saint Louis in last season's WNIT, the third time in program history that the Sugar Bears have hosted a national postseason tournament. The 2025 WNIT marks the second-straight national postseason for Central Arkansas, the first time that the program has gone to back-to-back postseasons since three-straight from 2016-18.
