Sugar Bears Earn Second-Straight WNIT Berth

CONWAY, Ark. – The Central Arkansas women's basketball team will continue its season after receiving a first-round bye in the WNIT, as announced by Triple Crown Sports.

With a first-round bye, the Sugar Bears will wait to face the winner of Abilene Christian and Northwestern State. Once the first round is complete, Central Arkansas and its opponent will schedule a game and host site to take place between March 23rd and 25th, with details to come out after the first round.

Central Arkansas hosted Saint Louis in last season's WNIT, the third time in program history that the Sugar Bears have hosted a national postseason tournament. The 2025 WNIT marks the second-straight national postseason for Central Arkansas, the first time that the program has gone to back-to-back postseasons since three-straight from 2016-18.
