CONWAY, Ark. _ The University of Central Arkansas basketball program has added a talented guard from Little Rock Central in Luke Moore, according to head coach John Shulman.
Moore is a 6-foot-2 senior guard at Central who averages 19.4 points, 6.1 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 2.0 steals per game for the Tigers. Moore is a four-year starter for, a four-time All-Conference selection and was named to the 2024 6A All-Tournament Team when his Tigers won the 6A state championship. Moore carries a 3.2 grade-point average.
"When we first got to Central Arkansas and got our feet on the ground one of the priorities was to get our eyes on in-state talent," said Shulman. "Luke was one of the first high school guys in the 2025 class that I watched. It did not take long to realize that he was a no-brainer. His poise, instincts, and high basketball IQ are always on display. We are really looking forward to getting Luke on campus, and have no doubt that the program just got better. Â
"We know Luke had several good options and are pleased he chose to be a Bear. Luke is a high character young man that has spent time in two great programs, playing for AAO Flight during his summer AAU and with Little Rock Central High School the past several years. He comes from a winning background and we know that he will be ready to contribute to the winning culture that we are building."Â
