CHARLOTTE, N.C. _ The University of Central Arkansas Bears will take the momentum from a big home victory on Saturday on the road for a pair of Atlantic Sun Conference games this week.

UCA (7-20, 3-11) will take on the Queens Royals (16-11, 9-5) at 6 p.m. (CST) at Curry Arena, in the fourth meeting between the programs, and second this season.

Queens won the earlier meeting 63-47 on a night that UCA had its worst shooting performance of the season, hitting just 1 of 21 from three-point range. The Royals, on the other hand, nailed 14 three-pointers on the Bears' home court.

UCA is coming off a big 84-83 overtime victory over North Florida on Saturday night at the Farris Center, avenging an earlier loss to the Ospreys in Jacksonville, Fla., last month. The Bears overcame a 17-point halftime deficit by outscoring the Royals 38-21 in the second half.

Queens' last game was an 86-80 loss to Eastern Kentucky, also in overtime. The Royals, who have lost two of their past three games, sit in fifth place in the ASUN standings and have already secured a spot in the ASUN postseason tournament. UCA is battling West Georgia, its Thursday opponent, for the final spot in the field.

Queens is led by 6-foot-7 graduate transfer Leo Colimerio, who averages 13.9 points per game. Senior guard Chris Ashby is the Royals' top three-point threat after hitting 9 of 26 in the win over UCA. He has 89 threes on the season and shoots 35.5 percent from beyond the arc.

The Bears got sophomore guard Brayden Fagbemi back in the lineup against UNF and he was one of four double-figure scorers. Sophomore Michael Evbagharu filled up his boxscore with 23 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists and 3 steals. Freshman Cole McCormick had 19 points, while Nehemiah Turner had 17 and Fagbemi 16 points and 7 assists.
