Conway, Ark.- The Central Arkansas Bears (0-1, 0-0) are set to play their first home game of the season on Saturday, Nov. 8
th at 1p.m. when they welcome the Tigers from Champion Christian College (2-0, 0-0) to the Farris Center. During the 2023-2024 season these two teams met up in Conway, the Bears won that match-up 120-54.
The Bears opened the 2025-2026 season at the #25 North Carolina Tar Heels last Monday in the historic Dean Smith Center.
Javion Guy-King led the way for the Bears with 10 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists.
Cole McCormick added 9 points and 4 rebounds.
Rashad Bolden and
Ty Robinson both added 8 points. The Bears will look to improve to 1-1 on the season on Saturday.
The Tigers are 2-0 on the season, winning two games in Pensacola, Fla. Game one was a 74-61 win against Pensacola Christian and the second was a 99-72 win against Trinity Baptist College. The Tigers are members of the NCCAA and compete against a wide array of teams from the NCAA DI and D2, the NAIA and the ACCA.
