LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Central Arkansas continued its strong late-season push on Friday evening, sweeping Bellarmine 3–0 (25–22, 25–10, 25–13) at Knights Hall to improve to 15–11 overall and 12–4 in ASUN play.
The Sugar Bears hit an impressive .326 as a team, dominating offensively and controlling the match from start to finish. Laci Bohannan led the attack with 11 kills, three aces, and 11 digs, finishing with a match-high 15 points. Gabby Tuiaana added an efficient 8 kills on a .467 hitting percentage, while Samantha Cousins chipped in 9 kills and 3 blocks.
In the middle, McKinzee Haas delivered another standout performance with 7 kills and a match-best 7 block assists, anchoring a front line that totaled 18 team blocks.
Setter Caylan Koons steered the offense with 34 assists while adding 5 digs and 2 blocks. Libero Alexis McDanielposted 11 digs, helping limit Bellarmine to just a .028 hitting percentage across the match.
After a competitive first set, Central Arkansas shifted into high gear, outscoring the Knights 41–23 over the final two frames to close out the sweep convincingly.
