Conway, Ark.- The Bears played in The Judson at the Hattiesburg Country Club in Hattiesburg, Mississippi on October 27
th and 28
th. The Bears played two rounds on the 27
th and one round on the 28
th in this two-day stroke play event. After round one the Bears were even, in round two the Bears had their best round of the event shooting -5 and then finished up with a round three score of +7. Overall, the Bears shot +2 for the event finishing in 3rd place, well ahead of three ASUN programs; West Georgia (+20), North Alabama (+37) and Austin Peay (+64). The Bears made 170 pars and 42 birdies.
Valeria Ramirez led the way for the Bears shooting -4 for the tournament, finishing in 3
rd place. She led all golfers averaging 3.8 on the par 4s for the event. Round 1: Even, Round 2: -2, Round 3: -2.
Gudrun Thorsteinsdottir shot -1 for the tournament, finishing in 9
th place. Round 1: -2, Round 2: -2, Round 3: +3.
Alethea Gaccion shot +4 for the tournament, finishing in 15
th place. Round 1: +1, Round 2: -1, Round 3: +4.
Maggie Huett shot +8 for the tournament, finishing in 21
st place. Round 1: +4, Round 2: +2, Round 3: +2.
Nanami Hayakawa shot +13 for the tournament, finishing in 32
nd place. Round 1: +1, Round 2: Even, Round 3: +12.

This completes the Fall portion of the Bears women's golf season. The Bears will be back in the Spring to play in six events finishing with the ASUN Championship in Dothan, Alabama on April 17-19.
