The first quarter began with Central Arkansas starting their initial drive at their own 24-yard line after Manny Smith returned the kickoff 24 yards. The drive saw consistent gains, highlighted by Landen Chambers' 6-yard rush and Austin Myers' completions to Malachi Henry and Tyrell Pollard for first downs. However, the drive ended without scoring, as they were forced to punt.

Later, the Bears initiated another drive from their own 36-yard line, where Chambers' 8-yard rush and Myers' connection with Henry for an 11-yard gain moved the chains. However, an interception by Myers at the Wolves' 1-yard line halted the drive. Central Ark.'s defense contained the Wolves, forcing a field goal, which narrowed the gap to 14-9.

Later, Central Ark. mounted a methodical drive, with Landen Chambers rushing effectively, culminating in a 23-yard field goal by Caleb Jones to extend the lead to 17-6. This marked Chambers' fifth straight game rushing for over 100 yards.

In the fourth quarter, Central Arkansas made a crucial defensive stand by stopping West Georgia on fourth-and-goal at the 1-yard line, preventing a scoring opportunity. Landen Chambers then initiated Central Ark.'s drive with a 13-yard rush, but the momentum was halted following a sack and subsequent punt. Despite leading 17-12 earlier, Central Ark. was unable to sustain their offensive drives.
