Conway, Ark.- The Women's Golf team competed in the Diamante Intercollegiate golf tournament in Hot Springs Village at the Diamante Country Club on October 19-21. The Bears played 1 round each day of this three day, stroke play event. The Bears shot -3 for the event finishing in 3rd place. The Bears averaged 3.03 on par 3s, 4.07 on par 4s, made 173 pars, 46 birdies and 1 eagle.
Alethea Gaccion led the way for the Bears shooting -2 for the tournament, finishing in 9
th place. Round 1: -1, Round 2: -1, Round 3: Even.
Maggie Huett shot -1 for the tournament, finishing in 12
th place. Round 1: -1, Round 2: +1, Round 3: -1.
Gudrun Thorsteinsdottir also shot -1 for the tournament, finishing in 12
th place. Round 1: Even, Round 2: -1, Round 3: Even.
Valeria Ramirez shot +3 for the tournament. Round 1: Even, Round 2: +3, Round 3: Even.
Aubrey Marx shot +15 for the tournament. Round 1: +7, Round 2: +1, Round 3: +7.
The Bears also had two members of the team competing as individuals in the event, their score could not count toward the team score.
Nanami Hayakawa shot +1 for the tournament. Round 1: -1, Round 2: -2, Round 3: +4.
Camila Negroni shot +7 for the tournament. Round 1: +2, Round 2: +3, Round 3: +2.
