JACKSONVILLE, Fla. _ The University of Central Arkansas Bears will play their fourth of four consecutive Florida games on Saturday when they take on the Jacksonville Dolphins in Atlantic Sun Conference action.

The Bears and Dolphins will tip-off at 2 p.m. (CST) from Swisher Gymnasium.

UCA has been on the road, specifically in Florida, since its last home game on Jan. 4 against Bellarmine. The Bears played at Stetson and Florida Gulf Coast last week, then at North Florida on Thursday night.

The Ospreys, the top perimeter shooting team in the nation, lived up to their billing in the decisive second half Thursday. After UCA held UNF to 5 of 23 from the three-point line in th opening 20 minutes, the Ospreys caught fire in the second half, hitting 14 of 19. They finished 19 of 42 (45.2 percent) from the arc, while making just 16 shots inside the three-point line.

The Bears were a very respectable 9 of 21 (42.9 percent) from three-point range, their second-best effort of the season.

The Dolphins will pose a completely different challenge on Saturday against a big, strong team that stresses defense. Jacksonville is 10-7 overall and tied for second in the ASUN with a 4-1 mark, alongside Lipscomb. The Dolphins have won four straight league games, including a 64-60 home win over North Alabama on Thursday.

Jacksonville averages 70.7 points per game and allows 70.8.

UCA is 0-4 all-time against Jacksonville since joining the ASUN, but last season's game was the closest in the series. The Dolphins won 59-55 a year ago at Swisher Gymnasium in a game that saw neither team shoot better than 40 percent from the field or 30 percent from three-point range.

JU was just 6 of 20 (30 percent) from beyond the arc while UCA was 4 of 17 (23.5 percent). UCA kept it close by going 17 of 21 at the free-throw line, compared to 9 of 13 for Jacksonville. Javion Guy-King led UCA with 16 points while Robert McCray had 22 for JU.

The Bears finally return home next week to host Austin Peay on Thursday and Lipscomb on Saturday.
