In a tightly contested match, the Sugar Bears came up short against the Rams losing in four sets (1-3).
 
The Sugar Bears faced early challenges, dropping the first set 21-25 as the Rams controlled the tempo. However, the Sugar Bears rallied in the second set, winning 25-19, led by Laci Bohannan. The momentum shifted again in the third set, as the Rams regained their dominance, taking the set 25-13. Despite a strong effort from the Sugar Bears in the fourth, they ultimately couldn't close the gap, falling 21-25.
 
While the Sugar Bears showed resilience and flashes of potential, the Rams consistent play throughout the match proved to be the deciding factor. The Sugar Bears will look to bounce back in their next match against #12 Oregon, at 12 p.m. Sunday, September 8^th.
