FORT COLLINS - The Sugar Bears look to bounce back this weekend at the Ram Volleyball Classic hosted by Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado. The Ram Volleyball Classic includes Grand Canyon University, Colorado State University and the Sugar Bears.

The Sugar Bears are coming off a 1-2 game loss at the Lions Invitational, opening the tournament with a strong three straight set win over Tarleton.

Starting off the tournament this weekend the Sugar Bears face off Grand Canyon University, GCU is 2-1 overall and the last time these two teams met was in 1999 in Florence, Alabama with GCU winning in three straight sets. The Sugar Bears will play GCU, September 6
th at 5 p.m.

The next match up for the Sugar Bears is against the host team, Colorado State University. The last time these two met was September 3
rd, 2023, losing 2-3 in a five-set match up. Colorado State is currently 0-3 overall. The Sugar Bears will face Colorado State on September 7
th at 2 p.m.

The final match up of the tournament will be against ranked #12 Oregon who are 1-1 in the season overall. The last time these two met was August 30
th, 2014, in Eugene, where the Ducks won the match in three set match up. The Sugar Bears will take on Oregon on September 8
th, at 12 p.m.
