CONWAY, Ark. _ The University of Central Arkansas has added more size and shooting touch to the roster with the signing of Marko Vuckovic.

Vuckovic is a 6-foot-9, 210-pound guard/forward from Novi Sad, Serbia. He averaged 17 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists per game and was the fifth-leading scorer in the U19 Serbian League (Roda JLS). Vuckovic shot 57 percent from the field (8th in the league) and 49 percent from three-point range (fifth in the league) and finished in the Top 10 in rebounding.

"We are extremely excited about Marko and what he brings to our program," said UCA head coach John Shulman. "We watched endless hours of tape and we consistently noticed how skilled Marko is. His size combined with shooting ability is going to fit in well with our identity. He has a great feel for the game which will serve him well within our offense.

"After several interactions with Marko it became apparent that he is a high character young man who is going to fit in well with our culture. We can't wait to welcome Marko to the family!"
