PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. – Another day, another 18 holes of the Golfweek/AGT Intercollegiate for the Bears. Monday's play saw the Central Arkansas men's golf team move up five spots into the top-10, thanks to three of the four counting scores improving their standings on Tuesday.
Luke Sienkiewicz moved into the top-20 after playing his way to a second day score of 2-under 70. The sophomore tallied three birdies to just one bogey, helping him jump way up on Tuesday.
Palmer McSpadden saw the biggest jump of the day by a Bear, sinking five birdies to round out a second round score of 2-under 70 to move up into the top-25.
Mark Stockdale tallied a 2-over 74 on Tuesday, adding four birdies to his count. He stands with a two-round score of 145 headed into Wednesday's final round.
Harrison Arnold shot a 1-over 73 after hitting four birdies in the second round, moving himself up a few spots on Tuesday.
Zach Little penciled in the lone eagle by the Bears, scoring it on the 548-yard par five fourth hole. His day two score of 73 bumped him up the standings headed into the final day.
Richmond jumped up to first place after scoring a 6-under 282 on Tuesday. Long Island and Valparaiso are tied for second place, each a single stroke behind the Spiders. Richmond's Cole Ekert vaulted from ninth to first on Tuesday, scoring a 6-under 66 to make the leap. Valpo's Caleb VanArragon is a stroke behind in second place, and Austin Peay's Jakob Falk Schollert is in third place.
