JACKSONVILLE, Fla. _ The University of Central Arkansas Bears head to Florida for a pair of Atlantic Sun matchups this week, starting with Jacksonville on Thursday night.

The Bears and Dolphins will tip-off at 6 p.m. (CST) from Swisher Gymnasium. The game will be carried live on ESPN+ and 92.7 Jack FM.

The Bears (8-17, 4-5), in a five-way tie for sixth place in the ASUN, are looking to break a two-game losing streak in conference play. The Dolphins (11-12, 2-7) are 1-4 in their last five games, including an 84-82 loss at Lipscomb on Saturday. However, Jacksonville is 8-1 at home at Swisher this season.

The teams will be meeting for the fourth time Thursday, and the only time this season. The Dolphins lead the overall series 3-0, with two of those wins coming at home, including one in the second round of the 2022 ASUN Tournament. The Dolphins won last year's meeting at the Farris Center 74-64, despite the Bears connecting on 10 three-pointers. Jacksonville shot 50.9 percent overall (64 percent in the second half) compared to 37 percent for UCA.

Wake Forest sophomore transfer Robert McCray leads the Dolphins with 16.8 points per game, while graduate forward Bryce Workman is the team's top rebounder at 7.2 per outing. Jacksonville shoots a solid 44.6 percent from the field and 32.6 percent from three-point range.

UCA continues its road trip on Saturday afternoon, taking on second-place North Florida at UNF Arena. Tip-off is 1 p.m. (CST).
