Sugar Bears to Host EKU Colonels

Conway, Ark. - The Central Arkansas Sugar Bears (6-8, 3-0 ASUN) are set to host the Eastern Kentucky Colonels (10-6, 1-2 ASUN) in what promises to be an exciting conference matchup. The Sugar Bears have been on a hot streak in ASUN play, boasting an unbeaten 3-0 conference record. Coming off impressive performances, Central Arkansas will look to maintain their momentum and defend their home court.

The Sugar Bears' confidence is at an all-time high after securing a season-high 11 aces in their last match against Bellarmine, showcasing their ability to dominate from the service line.

Key Matchup:
The Sugar Bears' balanced attack, spearheaded by Bohannan and Vernon, will be key as they take on an Eastern Kentucky team that has struggled in conference play despite a solid overall record. The Colonels, looking to improve their 1-2 ASUN record, will have to contend with Central Arkansas' strong defensive presence and efficient serving game.

Central Arkansas' ability to perform on both offense and defense will be crucial as they seek to extend their ASUN win streak. With the combination of powerful attackers, reliable setting from Koons, and consistent defense led by McDaniel, the Sugar Bears are in a strong position to secure another conference victory.
