CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. _ The University of Central Arkansas Bears, fresh off a rousing 96-86 victory over Lipscomb on Thursday night, will try to carry that momentum into Saturday's Atlantic Sun Conference matchup with the Austin Peay Governors.

The Bears and Governors will meet at 4:15 p.m. at the brand new F&M Bank Arena. The series between the teams is tied 1-1 after a pair of meetings last season.

The Bears (7-13, 3-1) connected on a school-record 19 three-pointers on Thursday, shooting a blistering 61.3 percent (19 of 30) from beyond the arc. Freshman Tucker Anderson was 6 of 10 on threes, while graduate Daniel Sofield and senior Masai Olowokere were both 4 of 4.

That helped the Bears score their most points against an NCAA Division I opponent this season. UCA had five players in double figures, led by Anderson's career high of 26 points.

UCA has now won four ot its last five games.

The Governors (9-10, 2-2) are coming off an 83-80 overtime victory over North Alabama at their home arena, where they are 6-1 this season. APSU features the ASUN's second-leading scorer in Demarcus Sharp, who averages 17.8 points per game. He is also sixth in the league in rebounding at 7.3 per game.

APSU is coached by Corey Gipson, in his first year after coming from Northwestern State. Gipson brought six players with him from Natchitoches, La., including Sharp. The Demons beat the Bears 74-66 in overtime last season at the Farris Center.

The Bears and Governors both won their home games in the series last year, with APSU winning 86-62 in Clarksville and UCA returning the favor 76-69 in Conway.

UCA is in a four-way tie for second place in the ASUN standings, trailing only Eastern Kentucky (4-0).

The game will be carried live on ESPN+, The Bear 91.3 and 92.7 Jack FM.
