CONWAY, Ark. _ The University of Central Arkansas Bears will try to get back in the win column in Atlantic Sun Conference play with a 3:30 matchup with the Bellarmine Knights on Saturday at the Farris Center.

The Bears dropped to 1-1 in conference play after Thursday night's loss to league favorite Eastern Kentucky at the Farris Center. Prior to that, UCA opened league play with a road victory at North Alabama a week ago.

The Bears and Knights (4-14, 0-3) will be meeting for just the fourth time, with Bellarmine winning all three previous matchups. The latest was the closest as UCA misfired on a potential game-winning shot last season in a 68-67 loss last February in Louisville, Ky. The Knight swept the two games the previous season.

The Knights have lost seven consecutive games, including ASUN contests against Austin Peay, Lipscomb and North Alabama, with the first two at home. Bellarmine has four players averaging double figures in scoring, led by sophomoreguard Ben Johnson at 12.5 points per game. The Knights average 67.7 points per game and allow 73.8.

Bellarmine is shooting 34 percent from three-point range, with graduate guard Garrett Tipton connecting on a team-high 38 and shooting a team-best 41.3 percent from beyond the arc. Junior forward Langdon Hatton (6-foot-10, 240 pounds) is the leader in rebounds (6.7 per game) and blocked shots (14).

The game will be carried live on ESPN+, The Bear 91.3 and 91.7 Jack FM.

UCA hits the road for two games next week, at Lipscomb on Thursday and at Austin Peay on Saturday.
