FORT MYERS, Fla. – The University of Central Arkansas tennis program dropped the first of two conference games in Florida on Friday. UCA had a brief bit of momentum going into the matchup, but it was stifled by Florida Gulf Coast.
The loss dropped UCA to an even 7-7 on the season and it now sits at 1-2 in the ASUN. Things have taken a bit of a turn after a fairly dominant win over North Alabama on March 10th, as the Bears have dropped two in a row. UCA drops to 0-2 all-time against the Eagles of FGCU with the loss.
UCA looks to turn the tide against the Stetson Hatters on Sunday, March 19th at 10:00 a.m. in DeLand, Florida.
