LOUISVILLE, Ky.._ With 28 games under their belt, the University of Central Arkansas Bears will face an ASUN Conference opponent for the first time this season on Sunday when they take on the Bellarmine Knights.

Tip-off is set for 3 p.m. (CT) at Freedom Hall.

UCA has already played four conference teams twice this season, and seven others once. Sunday's game will be the only meeting between the Knights (12-16, 7-8) and Bears (9-19, 4-11) this season.

Bellarmine is coming off a 70-57 loss to North Alabama on Thursday at Louisville's KFC Yum! Center. The Knights are 2-4 in their last six games, including a double overtime loss to league-leader Kennesaw State on Feb. 2 at Freedom Hall. Bellarmine is 7-6 at home this season, including the game at the KFC Yum! Center. The UCA game was moved to Sunday because of a conflict at Freedom Hall.

UCA had carried some momentum into it's last game after a 76-69 home victory over Austin Peay last Saturday at the Farris Center. However, the Bears suffered a season-high 23 turnovers and shot just 17.4 percent from three-point range (4 of 23) on Thursday night in a 74-58 road loss at Eastern Kentucky in Richmond, Ky.

The Bears and Knights will be meeting for just the third time on Sunday, with Bellarmine holding a 2-0 advantage in the series after a season sweep last year. The Knights won 85-63 in Louisville and 79-69 in Conway. Bellarmine's Dylan Penn had 38 points, shooting 18 of 22, in the first meeting. UCA's Camren Hunter had 25 points for the Bears in the second matchup, but Penn had 25 as well.

The Knights, the ASUN Tournament champions a year ago, have yet to secure one of the 10 bids for the ASUN tournament this season with a 7-8 league record, tied for seventh in the standings. UCA (4-11) is currently on the outside of the field with three games remaining. The Bears return home for their final two regular-season games, hosting Jacksonville State (4-11) on Wednesday night and Kennesaw State (13-2) on Friday night.

The UCA-Bellarmine game will be carried live on The Bear 91.3, 92.7 Jack FM and on ESPN+.
