MANHATTAN, Kan. _ The University of Central Arkansas Bears will take another shot at a Power 5 team on Wednesday night when they face the Kansas State Wildcats at Bramlage Coliseum.

The Bears (1-4) lost a close one at Vanderbilt last Friday night 75-71. In between, UCA dropped a two-pointer at Southeast Missouri on Monday night in Cape Girardeau, Mo., en route to Manhattan.

UCA has only faced K-State once before, in 2013, losing 87-54 at Bramlage. In that game, the Wildcats dominated the rebound battle and scored 42 points in the paint after pulling down 23 offensive rebounds.

The Bears are a better rebounding team this season, with a +2.4 rebound margin through five games, winning the rebound category three times this season and trailing SEMO by just four on Monday. Sophomore Glory Etim is UCA's top rebounder, averaging 9.0 per game, followed by freshman Javion Guy-King and junior Elias Cato at 7.0 and 6.2, respectively.

The Wildcats (3-2) are coming off a 1-1 showing at the Baha Mar Hoops Bahamas Championship where they beat Providence in overtime and lost to No. 11/12 Miami on Sunday. KSU has two players averaging more than seven rebounds a game in 6-foot-7 junior Arthur Kaluma (8.8) and 6-9 senior David N'Guessan (7.8).

The Wildcats, who will be starting a four-game homestand, are averaging 79.8 points per game, with a high of 91 against South Dakota State. K-State is 12-1 all-time vs. teams from the Atlantic Sun Conference, including an 83-75 win over Bellarmine on Nov. 10. K-State will also play North Alabama on Dec. 2.

UCA will finally return to the Farris Center this weekend, hosting the Central Arkansas Classic that features Eastern Michigan, North Dakota and New Orleans. UCA will face Eastern Michigan at 2:45 Saturday and New Orleans at the same time Sunday.
