CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. _ The University of Central Arkansas Bears continue their early season road swing at Southeast Missouri at 6:30 Monday at the Show Me Center.
UCA (1-3) is coming off a solid showing at Vanderbilt on Friday night, when they out-shot and out-rebounded the Commodores on their home floor before falling 75-71 at Memorial Gymnasium. The Bears had four players in double figures and shot 49.1 percent from the field and pulled down 37 rebounds.
The Redhawks are 0-3 on the season with losses at Grand Canyon (88-67) and Butler (91-56), and a home loss to Evansville (76-57) last Wednesday at the Show Me Center. SEMO is averaging 60 points a game and allowing 85, while shooting 36.6 percent from the field overall and 35.9 percent from three-point range.Â
SEMO's leading scorer is 6-foot-9 sophomore forward Adam Larson at 10.3 points per game. He is the only Redhawk averaging double figures. The Redhawks, as a team, are shooting just 46.7 percent (21 of 45) from the free-throw line.

Elias Cato leads the way at 15.0 points per game, followed by sophomore Carl Daughtery, Jr., and freshman
Javion Guy-King at 12.0, and freshman
Tucker Anderson at 11.8.Â
The Bears are averaging 72.3 points per game and allowing opponents 67.3. UCA is also winning the rebound battle 41.0 to 37.0, led by freshman Glory Etim (9.3), Guy-King (7.0) and Cato (6.8). UCA has made 29 three-pointers in four games, with Anderson connecting on a team-high eight.
SEMO leads the overall series 9-6, with the last meeting in 2016 with the Redhawks winning 87-63 in Cape Girardeau.
The Bears will head to Manhattan, Kan., on Wednesday to take on the Kansas State Wildcats at 7 p.m. at the Bramlage Center. UCA returns home to host the Central Arkansas Classic this weekend, taking on Eastern Michigan at 2:45 Saturday and New Orleans at 2:45 Sunday.
