CONWAY, Ark. _ The University of Central Arkansas Bears will finally get to play the Jacksonville Dolphins somewhere other than Swisher Gym in Jacksonville, Fla.

The Bears and Dolphins met for the first two times last season, once in the regular season and once in the second round of the ASUN Conference Tournament. UCA was the road team both times.

The Bears and Dolphins will meet on Scottie Pippen Court at the Farris Center at 3 p.m. Saturday in the start of the second half of the ASUN schedule.

The Dolphins beat the Bears by 20 in the regular-season meeting (79-59) and again by 10 points in the tournament game (79-69). Jacksonville went on to reach the ASUN championship game before losing to Bellarmine.

The Dolphins are currently 11-9 overall and 4-5 in conference play. They are coming off an 80-62 road loss at North Alabama on Thursday night in Florence, Ala. Jacksonville has alternated wins and losses for the entire conference season, beginning with a loss at Florida Gulf Coast on Dec. 31.

The Bears (7-15, 2-7) grabbed their second ASUN victory of the season on Thursday, and first home conference win, with an 88-85 overtime victory over the North Florida Osprey. UNF had beaten the Bears in their only meeting last season as well.

UCA had two players with double-doubles on Thursday. Sophomore guard Camren Hunter scored 18 of his team-high 24 points in the second half and added 12 rebounds to lead the Bears. Eddy Kayouloud, UCA's lone senior, added 19 points and 10 rebounds. Redshirt freshman V.J. Reeves was not far behind with 15 points and 9 rebounds, with junior Collin Cooper adding 15 points and a pair of three-pointers.

The win was UCA's first overtime win of the season after two previous losses. The Bears survived a 32-point, 11-rebound performance by UNF's Carter Hendricksen, who missed the Osprey's final three-point attempt in the extra period.

Depth was the difference for the Dolphins in last year's tournament victory. Jacksonville got out-scored UCA 27-6 in bench points, with the majority of the other statistics relatively equal. Both teams made just four three-pointers each, while Jacksonville shot 25 free throws to UCA's 18.

Saturday's game will be carried live on KUCA 91.3, 92.7 Jack FM and on ESPN+.

The Bears return to the road for a two-game Florida swing next week at Florida Gulf Coast on Thursday and at Stetson on Saturday.
