CONWAY, Ark. _ Less than 48 hours after an exhausting overtime affair at the Farris Center, the University of Central Arkansas Bears will return to Scottie Pippen Court on Saturday afternoon.

The Bears will host the Stetson Hatters at approximately 3:15 as part of an ASUN Conference doubleheader with the Sugar Bears. UCA and Stetson will be meeting for the first time.

UCA forced an extra period on Thursday night against Florida Gulf Coast, but ultimately fell 95-93 to the Eagles, despite a big-time performance from forward Eddy Kayouloud. The junior from Paris, France, scored 34 points and pulled down 17 rebounds in just his second start of the season in place of injured Darious Hall, UCA's leading scorer and rebounder. Sophomore Collin Cooper tied his career high with 18 points, hitting a career-high six of UCA's 11 three-pointers.

UCA fell to 1-1 in overtime games this season after beating North Alabama 89-88 back on Jan. 15, also at the Farris Center.

The Hatters (10-12, 4-5), out of DeLand, Fla., are coming off a 77-71 victory over Lipscomb on Thursday night in Nashville, Tenn. The Hatters outscored the Bisons 46-41 in the second half to win their third game in the past four, all ASUN matchups, with two at home and two on the road. Stetson is 4-6 in road games this season.

Stetson's leading scorer is 6-foot-4, 210-pound junior guard Rob Perry, who averages 15.9 points per game and shoots 87.5 percent from the free-throw line. The Hatters' roster has eight players at 6-6 or taller, but 6-5 graduate guard Christiaan Jones leads the team in rebounding with six per game. Sophomore guard Stephan Swenson ranks second in the ASUN in assists at 4.9 per game.

UCA Athletics will welcome back to Conway all former Bears and Sugar Bears on Alumni Weekend, beginning with a brunch on Saturday morning in the practice facility at the Farris Center. The returning athletes will be introduced on the court between games of the doubleheader.

The Bears will be back on the road next week for two games, at Kennesaw State on Wednesday night and at Jacksonville State on Saturday afternoon.
