SAPPHIRE, N.C. _ The University of Central Arkansas sits in 14th place after the first two rounds of the J.T. Poston Invitational played Monday at the par-71 Country Club of Sapphire Valley.

UCA shot rounds of 298-303_601.  South Carolina leads the field at 574.

Sophomore Blaine Calhoon shot 70-75_145 and is tied for 50th place with one round remaining. Junior Brett Daughdrill shot 76-76_152 and is tied for 74th, while junior Spencer Jenkins shot 79-74_153 and is tied for 78th. Sophomore Sam Long is tied for 80th (76-78_154) and junior Nate Jolly is tied for 85th (76-82_158). 

The tournament concludes on Tuesday.
