NORMAN, Okla. – The Golf Coaches Association of America announced its yearly Outstanding Team Academic Awards. The Central Arkansas men's golf team earned Presidents Special Recognition for having a team GPA above a 3.5.
The Bears were one of 41 NCAA Division I teams to earn the Presidents Special Recognition. The men's team combined for a 3.56 GPA, which earned the prestigious accolade.
UCA opens the 2021-22 campaign on Saturday, Sept. 11, in Choudrant, Louisiana, for the Jim Rivers Intercollegiate hosted by Louisiana Tech. The tournament will take place at the Squire Creek Country Club.
