CONWAY, Ark. – The Central Arkansas softball team returns to the diamond on Tuesday as the Memphis Tigers make the trip to Conway. UCA enters the contest with a 27-17 overall record, while Memphis comes into the game with a 7-33 record.
The Bears are coming off of a 1-2 weekend against the SFA Ladyjacks. During the series,
Jenna Wildeman broke the single-season stolen base record with her 40th steal and finished the weekend with a season total of 41. Wildeman also leads the team with a batting average of .390 and 33 runs scored.
Mary Kate Brown is second with a .371 average and has a team-high 10 doubles.
Cylla Hill has provided the power with seven home runs, which leads the team.

Kayla Beaver leads the staff with a 1.46 ERA and 120.0 innings. She has a record of 14-6 with 89 strikeouts.
Jordan Johnson has a team-high 110 strikeouts and 111.1 innings in the circle. She has a record of 9-7 and a team-high two saves.
This will be the 13th meeting between the two programs. The Tigers currently have a 7-5 lead in the series and have won the last three meetings, including a 1-0 victory in Memphis on March 6, 2019, in the last meeting. The Bears are 2-1 in games played in Conway.
The Tigers are led by Alyssa Dean with 16 runs scored, four home runs, and a batting average of .320. Kendall Lee is tied for the team lead with four home runs and has a team-high seven doubles. Kailey Hilderbrand has a team-low 5.79 ERA in 14 appearances. Chyanne Ellet has a team-best 57 strikeouts in 44.2 innings of work.
