CONWAY, Ark. – The University of Central Arkansas beach volleyball team looks to rebound after a tough weekend against ranked opponents, at the Bear Challenge hosted by Missouri State on Friday. The Beach Bears enter the challenge with a 9-8 record.
 
Aly Brinkley and Colene Hamilton have a 9-8 record in the No. 1 position for UCA. Evelyn Griffith and Faith Hasness have bolstered a 9-8 mark at the No. 2 spot.
 
The Beach Bears and the Ottawa Braves have met twice. UCA has won both matchups 5-0. The Braves enter Friday with an 0-8 record. Hannah Murry and Tina Sesa pace Ottawa at the No. 1 position. First serve is scheduled for 2 p.m.
 
Central Arkansas will face Missouri State at 5 p.m. This will be the first meeting between the two programs. Missouri State is led by Tylar Garrett and Chloe Filipski at the No. 1 spot. Missouri State is 5-2 on the season.
