CONWAY, Ark. – Fresh off a big win on Thursday, the Central Arkansas women's soccer team hits the road for an ASUN matchup against North Alabama on Sunday. Match time against the Lions is set for 1 p.m. in Florence, Ala.

The last outing for the Bears was an absolute success, as all phases of the game were on display for the entire 90 minutes. Five goals from four different scorers were the highlight of the night, but UCA also put together a defensive effort that allowed only five shots, all of which were stopped by the goalkeeper corps of
Keyla Perez and Kasja Pruner. The win improves the Bears to 6-7 on the year, with a 3-2 conference record.

The offense hummed on Thursday, leading to a multitude of goal scorers.
Emma Hawkins got the fun started, netting her ASUN-leading 11
th goal in the 16
th minute.
Hadley Dickinson scored two in the match, one in each half. A 2-0 lead coming out of the break was quickly built upon, as
Gracie Hair and Dickinson scored just 58 seconds apart to open the second half.
Alyssa Fason added one more insurance goal in the 69
th minute, capping the second game of the season with at least five goals scored.Â

Central Arkansas faces a Lions team that has struggled to score this season, currently holding a 2-10-2 record. North Alabama has only scored eight times this season, led by Alice Bussey's two goals.Â

The last four matches of the season are crucial for UCA, as all remaining opponents are in the ASUN West, which plays into seeding for a potential conference tournament appearance.Â
