FRISCO, Texas _ University of Central Arkansas' Noah Cameron was named the Southland Conference Pitcher of the Week on Monday.
   Cameron, a 6-foot-3, 215-pound left hander from St. Joseph, Mo., pitched a gem on Saturday against the Nicholls State Colonels in just his fourth career start at UCA. Cameron tossed a complete-game shutout, allowing just four hits, striking out a career-high 13 and walking just one batter. Cameron allowed just four singles and faced 30 batters.

   The 13 strikeouts is two short of the school record of 15.

   Cameron, who played at St. Joseph High School, was part of a UCA pitching staff that struck out 47 batters and walked just six in four games last week.
   The Bears host Oral Roberts at 6 p.m. Tuesday and return to Southland Conference action this weekend against Stephen F. Austin at Bear Stadium.  Â
