CONWAY – University of Central Arkansas first baseman
Kaylyn Shepherd launched a solo home run in the bottom of the seventh inning, but it was not enough as the Bears rally fell short with UCA dropping a 7-6 decision to Lyon College at Farris Field, Tuesday.
It was a six-run fourth inning for the Scots that broke things open and gave them enough of a cushion to hold on for the win. Central Arkansas dropped to 6-1 all-time against their in-state foe.
