CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. _ The University of Central Arkansas Bears got home runs from Matt Anderson and Justin McCarty but the Southeast Missouri Redhawks got the 6-2 victory in Sunday's series finale at Capaha Field.
   UCA (6-6) fell behind 5-0 after five innings before McCarty hit his second home run of the season in the top of the sixth. Anderson added a solo shot to lead off the top of the ninth inning but SEMO reliever Brady Wright replaced Matthew Wade and set the Bears down in order to end it.
   UCA starter Hunter Neal lasted just 1 2/3 innings, allowing 4 hits and 2 earned run while striking out 2. The Bears used five pitchers, with all but the final one, Derek Beier, allowing at least one run.Â
   The Redhawks (6-5) scored two runs in the second and third innings, then added another in the fifth. SEMO finished with 13 hits to UCA's eight. Shortstop Branden Boggetto finished 3 for 5 with 2 runs scored, while catcher Scott Mitchell went 2 for 3 with 2 RBI.

   For the Bears, Anderson finished 2 for 4 with an RBI and a run scored for the only UCA player with multiple hits.
   UCA returns home for five consective games, beginning with a Tuesday-Wednesday series with Mississippi Valley State. The Bears open Southland Conference play on Friday, hosting Stephen F. Austin at 6 p.m. at Bear Stadium.
