THIBODAUX, La. - The University of Central Arkansas volleyball team will try to capture their second consecutive regular season Southland Conference title and the top seed of the SLC Tournament when they travel to the Pelican State this weekend. The Sugar Bears, who are tied for first place with UTSA at 13-1, will play at Nicholls on Thursday at 7 p.m. and at Southeastern Louisiana at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
If UCA and UTSA have the same record, they will be named co-champions, but UTSA holds the tie-breaker for the top seed, having beaten UCA on Oct. 30.
The Roadrunners still have to travel to Texas State and UT Arlington. Texas State gave UTSA their only conference loss in San Antonio earlier this season.
