BEAUMONT, Texas - The University of Central Arkansas volleyball will put their 29-match Southland Conference winning streak on the line when they travel to Lamar and McNeese State this weekend. The Sugar Bears (17-6, 7-0 Southland) play Lamar at 7 p.m. on Thursday night in Beaumont, Texas, then travel to Lake Charles, La. on Saturday for a 2 p.m. match at McNeese.
UCA is currently tied with Hawaii and Lipscomb for the longest active conference winning streaks in the nation.
Junior outside hitter Jessica Hays ranks third in the nation in service aces average at 0.69 per set. Her 53 total aces leads the country. As a team, the Sugar Bears rank sixth in the country with 1.97 aces per game.
