The University of Central Arkansas is proud to host the 2011 Southland Conference Volleyball Tournament on Nov. 18-20 in the Farris Center. The tournament begins Friday, Nov. 18 at 11 a.m. in the first of four quarterfinal matches.
Friday's slate will feature:
11:00 a.m. — (2) UTSA vs. (7) Stephen F. Austin
1:30 p.m. — (3) Sam Houston State vs. (6) UT Arlington
4:00 p.m. — (1) Texas State vs. (8) Northwestern State
6:30 p.m. — (4) Central Arkansas vs. (5) Lamar
The semifinals, which will be held on Saturday the 19th, are scheduled for 5 and 7:30 p.m. The winners of the 2/7 and 3/6 matchups will meet in the first match, with the 1/8 and 4/5 winners to follow in the nightcap.
Sunday's championship match, which will determine the league's representative in the NCAA tournament, is slated for a 2 p.m. start. The championship match will air on the Southland Conference Television Network, while all other matches will be streamed online on
SLC NOW.
Tournament Bracket
Tickets for the tournament are on sale now. A three-day pass can be purchased for $15, or single-day passes may be bought for $10 for adults and $7 for students.
***UCA faculty and staff will not be admitted free of charge, as this is a Southland Conference event and pricing is set by the league office.
