STILLWATER, Okla. -  Central Arkansas cross country will return to action Saturday when the Bears compete in the Cowboy Jamboree at the Greiner Family OSU Cross Country Course in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
    Both Central Arkansas men's and women's teams are coming off-first place finishes at the UCA Bear XC Invitational to open the 2026 season. The women's team was led by individual champion Lydia Butler, while Garrett Barr captured the men's individual title in his collegiate debut.
    Central Arkansas will look to build on their strong season-opening performances as they face a new challenge at the Cowboy Jamboree.
    The women's 6k race is scheduled to begin at 8:15 a.m., followed by the men's 8k at 8:50 a.m.
