Men's Golf with Two in Top Ten in Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Central Arkansas men's golf team turned in a seventh place spot through two rounds of the Memphis Intercollegiate. The Bears are bolstered by two top-10 placements through 36 holes.
 
Noah Blaickner finished the day in fifth place, turning in back-to-back rounds of 73 to score a 146. Kalle Svederman is one stroke behind his teammate headed to Tuesday's final round, in ninth place at a 147. Svederman paired a 1-under 71 with a 74, scoring six birdies across 36 holes.
 
Bogdan Sandrini penciled in four birdies en route to a 159. His two birdies in round one were on the front nine, and his two in round two were on the back nine. Jack Wilson has three birdies on his score card, and heads into Tuesday one stroke behind Sandrini. Maksymilian Bialy turned in a 172 after 36 holes.
 
Memphis leads the field after two rounds, eight strokes over par. Illinois is in second place, and Southern Miss is in third. The Bears are five strokes out of the top-five. Memphis's Diego Lourenco is in first place on the individual leaderboard, one stroke ahead of Austin Peay's Patton Samuels. Illinois' Max Herendeen is in third place.
