MANHATTAN, Kan. – Tuesday saw the Central Arkansas men's golf team wrap up the Wildcat Invitational. The Bears finished in seventh place, with two top-25 golfers.
Bogdan Sandrini rose up to 17
th on Tuesday, piecing together a 2-over 74 for his final round. The freshman from France tallied a three-round score of 221.
Supanat Runglikhitcharoen shot a 5-over 77, finishing three strokes behind Sandrini. His score after 54 holes was 224, having added two birdies in his third round.
Leopold Isserentant penciled in a 77 of his own on Tuesday, scoring birdies on holes seven and 16. Tuesday's score saw him finish the Wildcat Invitational with a score of 225.
Vukasin Suturovic had his best round on Tuesday, tallying a 1-over 73 to close the tournament. He had four birdies across his final 18 holes, including a stretch from the fifth to tenth holes in which he had three in a six-hole span.
Kansas State's A team took home the team medal, winning by 16 strokes over Jacksonville State. The Wildcats' B team finished in third place. Kansas State's Nick Mason cruised to the individual win, finishing 11 strokes below par. Creighton's Grant Feldman and KSU's Cooper Schultz finished tied for second, eight strokes behind Mason.
